The Republican Women of Waller County

The Republican Women of Waller County (RWWC) was organized in September 2000. We are an affiliate of the Texas Federation of Republican Women (TFRW) and the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW).

The RWWC’s objectives are:

  • to promote an informed electorate through political education.
  • to increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government through active political participation.
  • to facilitate cooperation among Republican Women’s Clubs.
  • to foster loyalty to the Republican Party and to promote its principles, and candidates in all elections including non-partisan elections.
  • to work for the election of the Republican Party’s nominees.

This organization, its president, and its campaign activities chairman shall not publicly endorse any candidate for public office in contested Republican primaries, runoff elections, and special elections.

REPUBLICAN WOMEN CARE

The RWWC participates in local community projects, such as school supply drives, raising funds for child safety seat programs, “Teddy Bear” drives for the Waller County Sheriff’s Dept. and donating auction items for various local fundraisers. By joining forces with the TFRW and NFRW we are also a part of state and national projects such as literacy, women’s health, leadership development and a wide array of “Caring for America” programs.

The RWWC meets at 7:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday evening of each month in the Assembly Room of the Waller County Courthouse in Hempstead. Check CALENDAR to find scheduled RWWC activities.

When you join the RWWC, you also join the Texas Federation of Republican Women and the National Federation of Republican Women. You become a member of a team that believes strength comes from diversity and power comes from the grassroots level. We recognize that women must be politically active and good government requires personal responsibility.
